CCTV drain survey

CCTV drain survey

Our specialist CCTV technology lets us identify issues such as root ingress, cracks or collapsed drains quickly and accurately. And once we know what the problem is, we can act fast to fix it.

CCTV drain surveys also form part of our Drain Maintenance Programme. You can view the footage live, or as a recording, and we can provide you with detailed information packs if you need to pass the information on to a third party.

We also carry out Build Over Agreement CCTV surveys for utilities companies.

Drain repairs

Drain repairs

If there's a problem with your drains, our comprehensive range of repair services will get you up and running again.

We'll always try and help prevent problems before they happen, saving you time and money. And if repairs are needed, we'll always look for a 'no dig' solution such as drain lining.

If more in-depth drain excavation work is needed, you can expect A1 to restore the pipework quickly and at the most competitive price.

After every repair, we'll also give you a full report and a free plan for cost-effective preventative maintenance.

Drain lining

Drain lining

Drain lining is a popular repair technique which is less invasive than traditional excavation. We install a new sleeve inside an existing damaged drainage pipe rather than replacing the whole pipe. Lining can be used to repair pipes and sewers 100mm to 1500mm in diameter.

We'll always check to see if drain lining could be an effective solution for your business, as it saves on costs and minimises disruption. Drain lining can also prevent serious issues in future, including subsidence.

Robotic cutting

Robotic cutting

Combined with drain lining, robotic cutting is fast becoming a popular way of repairing drains.

Once our drain lining process is complete, our cost-effective robotic cutting service lets us reopen any lateral connections that have been covered during the lining process.

Robotic Cutting can also be used to remove concrete and slurry from drains without damaging the original pipework, up to 90m away from the manhole.
