In July, within the heart of the A1 Group, a remarkable colleague named Clare Brown captured the attention and admiration of her peers as she took part in the Race for Life, becoming a symbol of determination, compassion, and hope. Clare's journey showcased the true spirit of unity and camaraderie within the organization while highlighting the power of individuals to make a positive impact in the fight against cancer.

Clare Brown, a vibrant and enthusiastic member of the A1 Group, is known for her commitment to various charitable causes. When she learned about the Race for Life, a renowned fundraising event organized to support Cancer Research UK, she instantly felt a deep connection to the cause. Having personally witnessed the devastating impact of cancer on loved ones, she knew she had to be a part of the movement to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

"My dad died of Lung Cancer 14 years ago this July. And for the first time I'm going to do the Race for Life is as a 10k !!!!
Just be aware, I don't run. I'll be walking.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part to raise money and save lives.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now."

The Race for Life, typically held across the UK, is a series of running events that aim to bring people together to raise money for vital cancer research. Participants can choose from a variety of distances, from 5k to 10k, and even a Pretty Muddy obstacle course, catering to all fitness levels and ages. As a company, we are immensly proud of our colleague Clare and what she has achieved in the effort.
