A1 features on the hit series Scrap Kings

Scrap Kings is the ultimate indulgence for those working in the scrap industry, so we were delighted when we recieved a call asking if we wanted to take part in some filming for the show. A few weeks later it was all go and the film crews arrived to start recording. Two of our team members, Alan & Anthony were the first to volunteer for the show (they were hoping this could be their break into a TV career!). 

They spent the day working with the crew dismantling a passenger coach that we had recently bought for scrap. Together, they made sure they got the most yield from the coach, dismantling and removing as much metal as possible - whilst making the crew laugh along the way.

It was great to have a film crew in for the day, it's brings a buzz to the yard! It isn't our first claim to fame, we're often used as a set for films and programmes, we were even the location for the filming of Scrapheap Challenge back in the day.
