The A1 Group welcomes A1 Group Transport Ltd to its portfolio

The A1 Group has been established since 1971 and first began with a single car transporter, from then they have grown from strength to strength adding more services under their belt. The Group now comprises of A1 Wokingham Car Spares & Metal recycling, A1 Wet Waste Ltd, A1 Loo Hire Ltd and most recently A1 Group Transport Ltd. 

A1 Transport specialises in transporting site accommodation in and around the UK. Their head office is based in Port Talbot, South Wales but they offer their services across the UK. The company is led by Directors Clive Owen (Director of A1 Loo Hire) and Spencer Morgan (Regional Manager at A1 Loo Hire). Spencer had always been interested in starting a HIAB company and after 15 successful years of A1 Loo Hire in Bridgend, it felt like the right to time to branch into the HIAB industry.

Since its launch in 2021 the company has now welcomed Emma Bevan as Manager and 2 HIAB Drivers – Carl with over 30 years experience and Isimeli who is an experienced Class 1 driver who has recently qualified as a HIAAB driver. 

By providing a quality service and going above and beyond for their customers, A1 Transport has been able to grow and increase its fleet. They are currently operating a 32T Volvo with an 85T front loader crane, a 32T DAF with a 65T Crane and also a 32T Volvo with 60T crane. These 3 HIABS are running alongside their Volvo Tractor unit with a 45’ bed. A great start for a company still in its infancy. 

This year the company has worked on some well know projects and events across the UK including Glastonbury Festival, Hinkley Point and Tata Steel Works. When asked what their future plans are, General Manager, Emma said
