About The Role
At A1 Group, we're more than just a business; we're a family-run company with a rich history dating back to 1971. Operating from our bustling Wokingham yard, we specialise in providing quality used car parts, scrap metal recycling, and vehicle recovery services. Our Car Spares division is expanding, and we're looking for a dedicated Recovery Lorry Driver to join our dynamic team.
As a Recovery Lorry Driver, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient collection of vehicles from various locations across the South East. Your responsibilities will include:

Vehicle Collection: Safely recovering cars from streets, private properties, and other designated locations.

Street Lifting: Utilising street lifting equipment to retrieve vehicles in compliance with local regulations.

Customer Interaction: Engaging with customers professionally and courteously during vehicle collection.

Documentation: Completing necessary paperwork and digital records for each collection.

Fleet Maintenance: Ensuring your recovery vehicle is maintained to a high standard and reporting any issues promptly.Requirements:

Valid Driving Licence: Category C or C+E licence with a clean driving record.

Experience: Previous experience in vehicle recovery or a similar role is preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for customer interaction.
